OUR STORY

THE BEGINNING
Who would have thought a piece of driftwood washed ashore could spark an entirely new team sport?
The people behind Disc It
From the backyard to schools, colleges, and tournaments.
What started as a spontaneous beach game grew into a fast-paced team sport now played by families, schools, colleges, camps, and competitive groups.
In 2020, Daniel Anduray (CEO & Co-Founder) and Tyler Bullock (Co-Founder) were invited to a friendly game of this homemade game called "Disc It." After countless games and seeing the game's potential, they knew this wasn't just another backyard activity—it was something bigger. With the Rettstatt family's approval, Daniel and Tyler wrote the first official game rules and began designing the first Disc It set in 2021.
Disc It is being introduced into physical education programs across the country, providing a fun, inclusive way for students to stay active. With an official 6-day PE curriculum, Disc It helps students develop teamwork, communication, and fitness while having a blast.
From intramurals to student activities, Disc It is becoming a campus favorite. Universities are even hosting Disc It tournaments as a way to bring students together for fast-paced competition.
Whether it's a summer camp, sports retreat, or corporate team-building event, Disc It brings people together in an exciting way. Its versatility makes it easy to play anywhere—on grass, sand, or indoor courts.
Disc It is played in backyards, parks, beaches, and tailgates across the U.S. It's the perfect game for family gatherings, BBQs, and friendly competition. Whether you're casually tossing the disc or battling it out in a high-energy match, Disc It is for everyone.
Disc It is building a nationwide competitive community through official and sanctioned tournaments, where players compete to earn points on the National Disc It Leaderboard. Players must qualify through Disc It-hosted or partner-hosted sanctioned tournaments to earn their spot at the annual National Disc It Championship. Tournament hosts help grow the sport by creating local, regional, and national competition opportunities.
